Monthly Meditations
On the THIRD Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM MST, we will be meeting over Zoom to experience a meditation that will help you connect to the still small voice of the Spirit and receive more revelation. The meditation will be on that months topic to increase growth in that area.
The Zoom link will always be the same for the meditations

Here are a few instructions to help you get set up before the call to have the best possible experience. If at all possible, try to set up all these options, but if you can't, don't let that be the reason you don't attend. Just make the most optimal space possible
1. Be sure to be in a space without disruptions.
2. Let anyone in the house know that you will be unavailable for the next 30-45 and to allow you the space to refill your cup to be able to help them better in the future
3. Put a do not disturb sign on your door to remind them to allow you that space
4. Put devices on airplane mode or do not disturb so that you don't get any notifications or vibrations during the meditation
5. Find a comfortable place to sit or lay down during the meditation (grab pillows, blankets, water, or tissue to have nearby)
6. You may dim your lights or turn them off completely and also turn your camera off once we start
7. Use headphones if possible to drown out background noises in your house
8. Have a journal or paper and pen within reach for when the meditation is complete.
Again just make your space as optimal as possible. You don't have to have it be perfect. These are just suggestions to allow you to have the best experience possible.
I will record the audio of this meditation and put it in the DDS portal so you can listen to it again and again when you need it.

(Weaknesses) I Need to...So I Can...
I forgot to hit record when I was reading this quote from the talk
“Then Will I Make Weak Things Become Strong” By Elder Kevin S. Hamilton October 2022
https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/general-conference/2022/04/28hamilton?lang=eng
"Ether 12:27. And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.
Looking more closely at what the Lord is teaching us here, we see that He first says that He gives men and women weakness, singular, which is part of our mortal experience as fallen or carnal beings. We have become natural men and women because of the Fall of Adam. But through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can overcome our weakness, or our fallen natures.
He then says that His grace is sufficient and that if we will humble ourselves and have faith in Him, then He will “make weak things [plural] become strong unto [us].” In other words, as we first change our fallen natures, our weakness, then we will be able to change our behaviors, our weaknesses."
Tonight we are going to put your natural man to sleep and then prompt the Holy Ghost to let us know what we need to work on in regards to weaknesses to we can work on becoming a divine daughter of God
(Self-Compassion) Letting Go, Letting In, Letting Be
We would not hesitate to stand up for someone who is being bullied—unless that bully is our own critical inner voice. We are taught to be compassionate and caring to others just as Jesus Christ was. We take care of friends and family without a second thought. So why do we sometimes exclude ourselves from the same compassion?
Elder Jeffrey R. Holland taught that “as children of God, we should not demean or vilify ourselves, as if beating up on ourselves is somehow going to make us the person God wants us to become.”1 The antidote for the poison of self-criticism is self-compassion.
Dr. Kristin Neff, the leading psychologist studying self-compassion, has stated, “Compassion is, by definition, relational. Compassion literally means ‘to suffer with,’ which implies a basic mutuality in the experience of suffering. Thus compassion is more than a recognition of an individual’s negative experience and feeling badly about it. It implies an ability to “suffer with” an individual who is struggling.”
True self compassion then would be suffering WITH Christ in your circumstances.
Allowing Him to be there with you to empathize and guide. Not going in with guilt or shame but an openness to feel Him there with you in your experience. This is what will allow you to let go of what is keeping you from being compassionate towards yourself and let in what will help you be more compassionate towards yourself and then to just be with who you are and in your current circumstances without the guilt and shame
So tonight we are going to meditate to shift into that connection with the Savior to be able to let go, let in and let be
(Self-Care) I admit...It's time to...

Feeling Overwhelmed
I am Divinely Guided (Unmet Expectations)
President David O. McKay said that “Meditation is one of the most secret, most sacred doors through which we pass into the presence of the Lord. Jesus set the example for us. As soon as he was baptized and received the Father’s approval, Jesus [went] to what is now known as the mount of temptation. I like to think of it as the mount of meditation where, during the forty days of fasting, he communed with himself and his Father, and contemplated upon the responsibility of his great mission.
You too are divinely guided by the Father when you enter your own mount of meditation. Meditation is what allows you to enter your divine state connected to our Heavenly Parents, The Savior and the Holy Ghost. In this perfect state you are communing with powers greater than you can ever imagine. The messages you receive in perfect wholeness and connection to God in this state of meditation are sacred.”
