Skill Tap Band Not Working? Try This FirstÂ
Most tap issues are phone-related, not band-related. Follow these steps — they resolve most issues quickly.
1. Wake your phone: Your screen must be on and unlocked.
2. Tap the right spot: iPhone: top edge. Android: middle or back. Hold still 1–2 seconds.
3. Remove thick cases: MagSafe wallets or metal cases can block the signal.
4. Turn off Low Power Mode (iPhone): Settings → Battery → Low Power Mode → Off.
5. Restart your phone: Especially after updates.
6. Restart Safari (iPhone): Close Safari completely, reopen, then tap again.
7. Try another phone: If it works elsewhere, the band is working properly.
Helpful to know: iPhones are more sensitive to tap position than Android phones. Repeated taps mayneed a short pause between scans.
