The cold hard truth is that stress and overwhelm are a part of life.  This certainly doesn't mean that life is ALL bad, but the ins and outs of life can be very difficult. Sometimes because of things we do, but oftentimes stress and overwhelm is caused by things that are out of our control. Those are the moments that we as moms need to prepare our kids for.

As a mom myself, I know that actually preparing our kids for those moments is also stressful and overwhelming! That is why I wanted to have Katrina from Deliberate Family join me on the podcast. She is a wife, mom to 5, and also works as a teacher's aid in her children's elementary school. She started Deliberate Family as a resource for parents seeking ways to keep their family connected to Christ regardless of the difficulties in life. This week she is sharing her ideas just how you can do that so your kids can learn how to work through the inevitable stress and overwhelm they experience.
